- Entry into WishCon 2025
- Unlimited use of the board game library
2. What does my ticket not include?
- Purchases at vendor stalls (e.g., merchandise, collectibles)
- Food and drink
- Additional on-day ticketed events (e.g., Dungeons & Dragons, Blood on the Clocktower)
3. Is WishCon family-friendly?
Yes — all ages are welcome, with free entry for children under 5 and discounted tickets for ages 5–12.
4. What is the Code of Conduct?
- Treat everyone with respect and courtesy—harassment of any kind won’t be tolerated.
- No discriminatory language or symbols based on race, gender, religion, orientation, or ability.
- Ask permission before photographing cosplayers or attendees, and respect personal space.
- Keep costumes and props safe—secure any weapon-like items with a visible tag or tie so they can’t be mistaken for real weapons.
- If you see unsafe or inappropriate behavior, alert WishCon staff immediately.
5. Photography Disclaimer
We’ll be taking photos and videos at WishCon for promotional use (including online). By attending, you consent to your image being used in our marketing materials. If you’d rather not be photographed, let our photographers know and they’ll do their best to exclude you.
6. Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes — Scottish Hall has a ramp into the main hall.
7. Do all ticket proceeds go to Make-A-Wish?
Yes, 100% of net proceeds of WishCon are donated to Make-A-Wish New Zealand.
8. Will there be EFTPOS on-site?
We are planning to offer EFTPOS at registration, but vendor stalls may be cash only—please come prepared.
9. Can I leave and re-enter the venue during the day?
Attendees may exit and re-enter WishCon at any time by presenting their valid entry ticket—either your online confirmation or your door-sale ticket—at the door (subject to venue capacity).
10. What food and drink will be available?
We’re planning to host food trucks outside, with basic concessions available inside the hall.
11. Will there be door-sale tickets?
Yes, day tickets will be available at the door each morning, subject to capacity.
